A local business is bringing recognition to its community.
This week, Morris Heat and Air was esteemed on the 2016 Angie’s List Super Service Award.
“Angie’s List is a site designed to rate service providers, from auto mechanics to heating and cooling contractors, to doctors and CPA’s,” Owner of Morris Heat and Air, John Morris explained.
Over one million businesses are listed on the site.
Each year, less than 5 percent of those businesses are recognized with the Super Service Award.
“This award reflects Morris Heat and Air’s consistently high level of customer service,” a publication from Angie’s List said. “This achievement is particularly significant, as Angie’s List experienced unprecedented member growth in 2016. More than 1.6 million consumers, many of whom were eager to quickly hire highly qualified service pros, joined Angie’s List after the company added a new, free membership fee.”
Morris said he was already a member of the website before the fees were lifted.
To received the award, businesses had to meet strict eligibility requirements, according to the award qualifications. Those included an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade and review period grade. The Super Service Award winners must also be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.
“Aside from [this], Morris Heat and Air achieved these reviews by offering high quality services in Henryetta and correctly and accurately diagnosing and fixing home performance problems and reducing energy bills,” Morris said. “My company has maintained a five-star rating for years on Angie’s List, and as we continue to grow, we continue to maintain a higher level of quality in our fields of expertise, which is heating, cooling, solar and home performance.”
Morris said it is a high honor to receive the award because he was competing against businesses nationally.
“I’m very excited to have won this award,” he said. “Being one of the best service providers in Oklahoma is something that I strive to be. Angie’s List recognizing this is really awesome.”
